Terms of Use

Last updated September 28, 2026

These terms cover playing Cannonzone and making community levels. By playing, you agree to them. By submitting a level, you agree to the part about community levels below, which the editor asks you to accept first.

Community levels

When you submit a level (its layout, name and description), you grant Cannonzone a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, copy, show, change, adapt, distribute and otherwise use it, in the game and anywhere else: for example in the campaign, in updates of the game, or to promote it. We may use it with or without your player name. To the extent the law allows, you waive any moral rights that would stop us from doing so.

You won't be paid in money for levels you make or for how they are used, however popular they become. The only reward is in-game coins: one for each player who likes your level. Like every coin, they have no money value (see Playing). Coins players collect in community levels are held until the level is approved, and are never paid for your own levels.

When you submit a level, you promise that:

Moderation

No guarantees

The game is provided as it is. It may change, lose data or stop at any time, and levels, coins or skins may be changed or removed with it.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and ask again before your next submit if the part about community levels changes.
